So I have decided to start naming all my work instead of just giving them numbers. I use whatever pops into my head at the time really. I'm definitely becoming more proficient as I fine tune my technique. Trying to now move away from having black backgrounds and extended the images over the entire canvas. I still start with black backgrounds though since its necessary for some of the layer effects to work correctly.

One of the interesting things I have discovered while doing this kind of work is that after a piece is completed I can select some of the empty remaining space and fill it to make a new shape for the next project, which in turn leads to more shapes. This doesn't work all the time but it does in many cases, its a really fun process and creates limitless possibilities

I now also have a number of fractal generating programs to start using but I am slightly hesitant because there are not too many people using purely photoshop to do this kind of work and I feel it helps to make my work stand out. I will probably cave though and give some of these programs a shot. If i do I will create a tutorial on how to do these in photoshop.
